Ownership of Les Rois Francs(VV 100) is needed to play this scenario and it is recommended to use the rules from Furor Barbarus (VV109)
As with other A la Charge wargames, Zone of Control, hex to hex moves, command, long range fire and close combat (melee), morale checks and retreats are used.
