Colorium (2020)

Colorium is a new galaxy far away, has emerged. Every second, new stars light up in it, the laws of physics appear and vanish, chaos recedes, and the forces of the universe come into balance. You are the young guardians who must be ready to structure the chaos and channel cosmic flows under constantly changing circumstances. Each round during a game of Colorium, the players will be drafting a pair of a shape and a color from the dice pool and gradually filling their own boards with the corresponding pieces of polyomino. The gameplay is intuitive as it abides by the basic principles of Tetris, but the scoring system turns Colorium into a tactical and strategical gem: will you go for another color to get a guaranteed bonus at the end, or is it worth to expand one of the colors you have already to score points for a mission? Will you climb up to the top to gain a bonus, even if that could mean ending the game much sooner than the other players? The game goes on until no one can draw another shape in their grid, and whoever scores the most points wins!
