"Commissioner, we were able to establish contact with a crown witness! But she is suspicious and asking for proof. She won‘t tell us anything without assurances that we are actually investigating this case!"
"The Crown Witness" is an additional variant for "The Key – Theft in Cliffrock Villa".
This is a mini expansion for the very first "The Key" Game. It was a free promo on Spiel Essen 2022 and consists of 30 Cards: 6 rule cards, 6 Questions and 18 hints.
The Promo adds a new aspect to the game: At the start of the game one card is drawn that lets the crown witness ask a question concerning the case.
When playing you can focus to answer that question. When you can answer it, you note the answer and take a free info. only if you are last to answer, you get nothing.
It therefore adds a little race at the start of the game.
