Villages: Crystal Quest is the 7th expansion for the Villages card game–and it’s the biggest one yet, with a monster-infested dungeon to explore and alternate rules that bring new life to all your existing cards.

In addition to waging war on other players, you can send your entire village to explore the dungeon and fight monsters as a group. Unit abilities interact with each other in new ways and each battle becomes a puzzle as you decide which monster each character should fight in order to defeat them all.

For each monster destroyed, you’ll draw treasure cards, which give you extra gold at the end of the game. But what you’re really searching for are the Crystals–six powerful gems, one in each color. The round will only end after a certain number of these have been discovered, allowing you to spend a little longer developing strategies and building your civilization before moving on to the next one.

Villages: Crystal Quest is an expansion that requires the Villages base game.
