The Allies box, finally, is filled with hordes of new mercenary units, allies and vassals of the powers of the era, coming from all corners of the Roman world, ready to serve the highest bidder, their partners -according to the winds of war and history- or their patrons, whoever they may be. Unyielding Hispani Soldurii, agile Iberian Caetatri, the Massylii guardsmen of the Numidian kings, Gaetuli horsemen from the North African deserts, Cantabrian warriors from the mountains of northern Hispania and even Cilician pirates are at the disposal of all the contenders of Triumviratus… and of all of ONUS! Many of these units are not exclusive to the 1st century BC and the time of Caesar, but can also be used to reinforce your Hispanic armies on the battlefields of the Punic Wars, to shore up the multi-ethnic hosts of Alexander the Great’s successors in the East, and even to provide Trajan and his general, Lusius Quietus, with the kind of North African auxiliaries and symmachiarii with which to spread terror in Dacia and Parthia. The mercenaries, after all, will fight for those who can pay the required amount of gold (points), won’t they…?

La caja de Aliados, finalmente, viene atestada con hordas de nuevas unidades de mercenarios, aliados y vasallos de las potencias del momento, procedentes de todos los rincones del mundo romano, listos para servir al mejor postor, a sus socios –según los vientos de la guerra y de la Historia– o a sus patrones, sean quienes sean. Inquebrantables soldurios hispanos, ágiles caetatri iberos, los guardias masilios de los reyes númidas, jinetes gétulos de los desiertos norteafricanos, guerreros cántabros de las montañas del norte de Hispania y hasta piratas cilicios están a disposición de todos los contendientes de Triumviratus… ¡y de todo ONUS!! Y es que muchas de estas unidades no son exclusivas del siglo I a.C. y la época de César, sino que pueden ser utilizadas también para reforzar tus ejércitos hispanos en los campos de batalla de las Guerras Púnicas, para apuntalar las multiétnicas huestes de los sucesores de Alejandro Magno en Oriente, y hasta para proporcionar a Trajano y a su general, Lusio Quieto, la clase de auxiliares y symmachiarii norteafricanos con los que sembrar el terror en Dacia y Partia.
