Their large swordspears and tendency to recover from harm make them tricky to defeat!

The Erdtree Avatar also brings a brand new type of combat to the tabletop – Mounted Tarnished. While mounted, Tarnished have greatly increased mobility. This is a huge advantage in battle, enabling Tarnished to sweep in and damage the Avatar. Be careful not to let the Avatar land a blow in return. Those Tarnished strong enough to overcome their enemies will be greatly rewarded, with no less than the Staff of the Avatar itself — a unique and powerful new weapon to wield on the path to become Elden Lord.
