Collapsi (2025)

Collapsi is an abstract game that uses a regular deck of cards and anything available for pawns. Move around the board and trap your opponent. The last player able to move wins the game!

Movement is determined by the number on the card. A player must be able to move that number of spaces in order to complete their turn. Like in old school arcade games, players may "wrap around" the board to complete their move. For example, they could "exit" the left side of the board and "enter" the right side in the same row or vice versa. The same can be done from top to bottom or vice versa.

The board shrinks as the game progresses. Once a player leaves a card at the beginning of their turn, that card "collapses", and it is flipped upside down. That card can no longer be passed through or landed upon.

Carefully move around the board and try to trap your opponent. The last player to successfully move wins the game.
