7 locks have to be opened ... with 8 keys. The old castle master makes his rounds on the raised game board. He strides from one castle tower to the next, always making sure he is handed the only key that fits. Only those who find out how deep the individual locks are can open the towers to retrieve the royal pearls from the treasure chambers. Players have to trust their eyes as well as their ears. The true length of the keys only becomes visible when you try to open a lock with them. And the depth of the locks becomes audible when more pearls are sunk into the treasure chambers. Whoever draws the right conclusions from all the visual and acoustic clues will claim the throne with the most pearls.
