The Base (2023)

The Base is a tactical game for two players. Each player controls his unit, made up of three figures. He should command the explorers on a failed mission, trying to save their lives. Or become the mind-control mind of genetically modified humanoids who instinctively try to get free.

During the game, the players move the figures around the board in an effort to bring all three of their figures from one end of the board to the other side before the opponent. Note that there is no room to spare at The Base. It is very likely that over time there will be a fierce battle for every step. As time passes inexorably, The Base gets closer to its destruction every moment!

The goal of the game is to get all three figures to the other side of The Base first. The figure is in the goal when it reaches any of the opponent's starting fields. Time is limited to twenty rounds. After that time, The Base will explode. If by the time of the explosion, neither player has managed to save all the figures, the one with the most saved figures wins.

The player combines during his move two actions - moving the figures on the game plan and uncovering and rotating the plan tiles. Each plan tile has several entrances or full walls, depending on its orientation. The strategy for rotating tiles is to try to open the easiest way possible to the target while closing the path of the opponent. By effectively rotating tiles, we create obstacles that will slow your opponent down on his or her way or make it impossible for a while!
