The Baltic Sea was one of the most politically fractured, geographically constrained, and tactically diverse maritime theatres of the Second World War. Unlike the open Atlantic or the island labyrinth of the Aegean, the Baltic was a semi‑enclosed battleground where every coastline was contested and every island mattered.

Baltic Cauldron is the first in a series of scenario books for WW2 coastal forces wargaming. Although written with LFG’s Narrow Seas and Action Stations rules firmly in mind, the 20 scenarios included here along with the scenario generation system are applicable to other sets of coastal forces rules such as Torpedoes and Tides and Cruel Seas.
