The board game community

TABLE TOWN is a board game database and player community built for Vietnam. We're building a place where Vietnamese players can look up games, log their plays, write reviews, discuss on the forum, and find board game cafés and stores near them — all in Vietnamese, with full English support.

Who it's for

• Players: from newcomers to long-time hobbyists who want to track their collection, log scores from game sessions, and discover new games that match their taste.
• Board game cafés & stores: a place to showcase your space, hours, and events, and connect with the local player community.

Why not just use BGG

BoardGameGeek (BGG) is the world's largest board game database, but its interface is English-only and it has no information about where to buy games, where to play, or local events in Vietnam. TABLE TOWN isn't a replacement for BGG — it's a local layer of information and community: Vietnamese game names, local purchase info, board game cafés with maps and hours, and a discussion community in your own language.

Why we built this

Vietnam's board game community has grown through Facebook groups, board game cafés, and meetups — but the information is scattered, hard to search, and easy to lose. TABLE TOWN exists to bring that information together in one place: easy to find, easy to contribute to, and more durable than a Facebook post.

This project is in its early stages. We're building this with the community, not just for it — every game correction, review, or café listing you contribute makes TABLE TOWN better for everyone.
