Community Guidelines

TABLE TOWN is a place for Vietnamese board game enthusiasts to discuss, review, and share. These guidelines keep the community useful and trustworthy for everyone.

1. On the forum

  • Keep discussion board-game related: rules, strategy, organizing sessions, reviews, news.
  • Be respectful, even in disagreement. Critique ideas, not people.
  • No cross-posting the same content across multiple boards (spam), and no unauthorized advertising of unrelated products or services.
  • Use spoiler tags when discussing details that could affect someone else's experience.

2. Reviews and ratings

  • Reviews should be based on real play experience. Honest negative reviews are welcome — but review-bombing (organized, coordinated low ratings not based on real experience) will be removed and may lead to account suspension.
  • Play logs should reflect real sessions. Fabricating logs to manipulate leaderboards or stats is a violation.
  • If you received a free product in exchange for a review, disclose that in the post.

3. Café owners

Owners with a claimed venue must:

  • Post accurate hours, address, and event information.
  • Not create fake accounts to write positive reviews or fabricate events for their own venue.
  • Handle interactions with customers on the platform professionally.

Violations may result in the claim being revoked.

4. Absolutely prohibited

  • Obscene content, extreme violence, incitement to hatred or discrimination.
  • False information that seriously harms an individual or organization.
  • Copyright-infringing content.
  • Someone else's personal information posted without consent.

5. How moderation works

  • Moderators (moderator/admin role) can hide or remove content that violates these guidelines, or temporarily suspend accounts.
  • Minor violations usually get a warning first. Serious violations may be acted on immediately without prior warning.
  • If you believe your content was removed in error, you can appeal via support@tabletown.vn.

Use the "Report" button on a post or review, or contact support@tabletown.vn if you need further help.
