The first in a planned series of expansion sets to supplement the Great War at Sea game series! The South America Expansion set covers the ships available to these nations from 1895 through 1925.

191 markers from 9 navies (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela). Printed on a single, 8½"×11" sturdy 150 lb stock sheet in full color.

Markers include all available ships plus planned acquisitions. The 16 page booklet includes hit records for each marker, hit record explanation and commentary on planned acquisitions and origins of individual vessels. These hit records also cover markers included in the original GWAS sets with the vessels' availability dates AND the names of ships on multi-ship markers.

2 to 4 Fleet markers are included for each navy. There are also 13 11"×17" black and white maps covering the entire coastline of South America and indicating all the major ports and naval bases.
