Ring of Life is a promo card that was given out at Game Day locations in February 2012. This card was originally created as "Ring of Gerd" for Alan Gerding as part of an elaborate wedding proposition, and was later adapted for public distribution.
From the card:
" Ring of Life Cost: 4 Runes to acquire Lifebound Construct Once per turn, if you have played a Lifebound Hero, gain one Rune. When Ring of Life enters play, choose a faction. Your heroes of that faction are also Lifebound Heroes. "
