Flames of War: Firestorm – Greece: The Italian and German Invasions of Greece (2012)

Overview

The Battle of Greece 1940-1941 using the established Firestorm System for Flames of War. The Firestorm system is designed to be used with the Flames of War but the Game can be played as a solo game under the General's Game rules.

Firestorm Greece recreates the Battle for Greece in four turns, each with a number of battles.

TURN 1 - Emergenza G - The Italian invasion on the 28 October 1940 TURN 2 - The Greek Counter-Offensive, November to January. Saw the Greeks push into Albania TURN 3 - Primavera - Italian Spring Offensive under the personal command of Mussolini TURN 4 - Unternehmen Marita, the German Invasion of Greece in April.

The first three turns see the struggle of the Greek and the Italian forces on the Greek Albanian boarder while Unternehmen brings the German Blitzkrieg to Greece while the British Expeditionary force W-Force under Lt. General Sir Henry Maitland Wilson adds a little to the Greek defence.
