Overview

From publisher blurb:

It's time to explore! You've conquered the known world. Now it's time to explore! Send 9 all-new units into the great unknown in order to claim even more land for your kingdom. Use the sneaky Scout to take a peek at your opponent's cards, protect your Kings and Princesses with the handsome Prince, and stage a revolution with the unassuming Peasant.

This expansion also introduces the Distant Lands locations deck. As you begin each round, draw one of these cards to discover a new place for you and your rivals to fight over. Each new land has its own special properties that change the rules of the game. For example, Rogue's Retreat lets hired units escape to the discard pile, while the Peasants at Revolt Volcano begin their uprising before you even start to play.

Each deck of Villages: Distant Lands includes 48 standard cards, 12 location cards, and a sheet of rules.
