Card GameTrick-takingAuction / Bidding

Overview

Bridge-like game played with a normal deck of cards. The difference is that there are only eight or so bids available to the players (ranging from "Proposition and Co-operation", in which two players attempt to take eight tricks, through "Mesaire" in which one player attempts to take zero tricks, up to "Abundance Declared", in which one player attempts to take all 13 tricks himself), and only one round of bidding (in which the dealer bids at the beginning and the end). Another unusual twist is that all of the bids bar one result in one player playing against three.

Special rules for three players.
