Overview

When magic items started to disappear from the Labyrinth And the mages came to steal its ancient power… The holy swarm struck for the first time.

The Scarabs of the Labyrinth have awoken to guard secrets of their home. They are extremely small, deadly quick and dangerous beyond imagining… They will take control over anyone who seeks power of the Labyrinth for himself!

”Heroes delving into the ruins of the ancient Labyrinth… They were looking for the gift of immortality, with Crystals of Fate as keys to this most noble of gifts. We do not know if they found this gift. What we know for sure is that they found the Golem - a strange construct build by an ancient race. But it was not the only creature lurking in the depths of the Labyrinth. There were many more…” Explorer of the Labyrinth from Tiphere’eth

How does it work?

Scarabs lie dormant in corridors hidden in frame pieces... They come into life after players take three magic items from the game board. Each player may spend 1 action to move a Scarab swarm. When a Scarab encounters a character, this character must make a Scarab Check… If the check is successful, the Scarab dies and is removed from the game for good. If the check is failed, the Scarab transforms the character into a monster! Fortunately, any transformed characters can try to return to their own form!
