Overview

(From the Kickstarter Project page:)

A 12-card pack offered as a reward to backers of the Fate of the Elder Gods Kickstarter campaign.

These cards can be added to any game and grant even more power to your Ancient One! There is a Cult card for every god in the base game and the Beasts From Beyond expansion, as well as one for the promo god Azathoth. There are even a couple of unaligned Cult cards for even more variety!

Brothers of the Black Pharaoh (Nyarlathotep) Conclave of the Ancients (Your Choice) Cult of the Yellow Sign (Hastur) Druids of the Solstice (Tsathoggua) Esoteric Order of Dagon (Cthulhu) Followers of the True Fate (Your Choice) Order of Ancient Secrets (Bokrug) Order of the Eternal Sacrifice (Your Choice) Seekers of the Northern Light (Ithaqua) The Order of Eight (Atlach-Nacha) The Order of Merlin (Azathoth) Wizards of Celestial Secrets (Yog-Sothoth)

This promotional pack will not be available in retail and is a little something special to say thanks for supporting the Kickstarter.

(From Kickstarter Update #36:)

Many of you have asked about the Cult Cards that come with the Kickstarter edition and how they should be used in games of Fate of the Elder Gods. The Cult Cards are meant to be supplemental powers for your Cults during the game.

During set-up, all players must agree to use the Cult Cards. Beginning with the player who will take the last turn and proceeding in reverse turn order, each player will choose whether to use the Cult Card associated with their particular Elder God or choose one of the general, unaffiliated Cult Cards. During the game, players may activate their Cult abilities at any appropriate time as stated on the card. This ability does not have to be activated by The Ceremony like an Elder God’s Dark Gift.

[...] We also recommend that you do not include Cult Cards or the Beasts From Beyond expansion in your first games of Fate of the Elder Gods. There are plenty of awesome things to do and explore in just the base game. Once you all know the ropes, you’ll be ready to tackle the extra challenges!
