Overview

Description from the publisher:

Horse & Musket: Crucible of War is the second expansion to Horse & Musket: Dawn of an Era. This volume will cover warfare from 1749-1767, when linear musket combat was at its apogee. This era was dominated by the world sweeping Seven Years' War. The war saw dramatic shifts in fortune, but when all was over Prussia survived and Britain’s empire doubled in size. In this conflict light troops and cavalry charges became more common and bold. Artillery was more accurate and heavy, with canister being used to sweep away opponents. Infantry firefights became prolonged.
