Overview
Jack Northrop saw the flying wing design as the pinnacle of efficiency in aeronautical engineering. In theory, it would be capable of faster speeds, larger bomb loads, and longer range, expanding the known performance attributes of 1940’s bomber technology.
In Amerika, the Germans have long won the race to flying wing technology and have used it to the detriment of Allied defenses. But now, the Allies will strike back with their own deadly version. Focused more on payload than radar evasion, the YB-35 can deliver a heavy punch at an affordable price.
