I used the Urbino board (Gerhards), the blocks of "Blocks" (Steffen Spiele) and the pawns of Pandemic Legacy (Season 1). The game is now on BGA!

Overview

Block Arena, an abstract game for 2 players.

In Block Arena each player controls 4 blocks and 1 meeple. Players move their blocks and meeples, with the aim of making their own meeple reach the opposite side of the board.

A match lasts about 15 minutes. The game is very simple to learn, but hard to master, and it has a very good amount of replayability.

Thanks to all the people that made this possible, especially playtesters, other game designers and friends.

A special thanks to:

- Ignazio Panades, that gave a huge contribution for the game development; - Marco, that played with me the first correspondence Block Arena match in history; - Claudia Minozzi, Stefano and all the other boardgames course students, that gave me the first impressions of the game and encouraged me to go on with the project; - Fernando Fiorenzano for bringing it on TTS! - Michele Cristofani for working at the very first version of it on TTS; - my family, the best playtesters ever! - all the people that made this possible!
