Overview

The king is getting anxious and hungry, it is past noon and the table is set. In the castle pantry, the cooks hurry up gathering ingredients and preparing the finest delicacies for the banquet, while helpers are piling up the place, stacking trays and plates. Tension hangs in the air until a scream tears the silence "Serve the King!"

In Sirvam o Rei, players take on the role of these cooks. Each player starts with four cards face down in front of them, representing the available recipes. During his turn, a player draws a new card from the deck and decides whether to discard it (activating its ability if he wishes) or trade it without revealing it for any of his other recipes. At any time, a player may skip his turn by exclaiming "Serve the King" and activate the last round.

There are 4 kings and 1 queen with different tastes that modify the final goal and the importance of certain recipes. Whether it is the Ogre King who is disgusted by sweets and fresh foods or the Elven Sea Queen who has very strong opinions on seafood recipes, it's up to the players to adapt their cooking to the demands and present the best dishes of the banquet.
