BACK FROM THE BRINK!
The Souldra Onslaught and Andromedan Invasion have been defeated, and now the empires of the Omega Sector must pick up the pieces before new enemies appear and old enemies become a threat. The devastation inflicted by the Andromedans and Souldra left each Omega Empire holding only a core region, and dreaming of plans to reclaim their previous territory and rebuild their previous power. As new enemies loom, new technology (gunboats!) sets the scene for the worst fighting yet!
Gunboats, the ultimate attrition unit, take fighting to new levels of savagery. Tenders and Space Control Ships carry the gunboats into battle. Special classes of escorts appear to protect the key carriers. New types of bases are deployed to support the new fighters and gunboats. Captor mines are deployed to protect key planets and bases.
