Overview

Open the box and the game begins. You look at your inheritance. The objects you discover belong to an old family history, they are now yours. Codex is in the crossroad of an investigation game and an at-home escape game. The goal is simple: with the 60 elements contained within the box, you'll have to investigate this mystery to uncover it. Every details matters. Every objects are related to one another and contribute to the immersion. As you progress, you'll collect clues and resolve enigmas, until being able to gather all the new informations and achieve your goal.

The game isn't bound to a rulebook. The game starts as soon as you open the box. The game can be played in one or several sessions, with one or more players.

When you're done with the game, put everything back in the box and you're good to give it to another heir if you so wish.
