Overview

This modular expansion introduces two volcanoes that can erupt throughout play and a power deck available to all players, and is fully compatible with (but does not require) The Rogue and Barbarian Expansion. You may play with just the volcanoes, or the power deck, or both with any combination of players.

Two volcanoes introduce the ability for players to activate predetermined lava flows on the map to lay waste to their opponents and create gold mines that can be mined for gold. The volcanoes and lava tiles provide additional movement mechanics by sending dragons back to their caves and removing the Rogue and Barbarian from the map to finish their turn.

The power deck introduces a deck of potent abilities available to all players that cost 1 action to use.

In Might and Magma, exploit the folly of humans that brought about the destruction of the surface and the disturbance of an ancient power that had lain dormant, until now. It turns out that the humans mining the cursed depths of impending peril in search of more gold was somehow not a good idea. As volcanic activity shakes the land, something far worse seems to have awoken amidst the chaos. Now the island’s already most tyrannical are granted strange new powers from an unseen source beneath the island.
