Overview
It is late June 1863. Lee's army--now larger than ever before--swarms into Maryland and threatens Pennsylvania. At this critical moment, General Hooker is suddenly replaced by the respected but yet untested George Gordon Meade. Can Meade discern Lee's true intentions and stop him?
A Formidable Invasion is a free campaign supplement, allowing players to re-fight the pivotal weeks of the Gettysburg campaign. Players maneuver their divisions across a vast theater map with the potential to fight a series of interconnected battles. Our simple rules are only 10 pages, but still include logistics, supply, weather, variable map movement, asymmetrical victory conditions, and historical random events.
