Overview

The Annexation of Chiraz links five Table Top Teasers or scenarios together in a mini campaign. They can be played as stand alone battles or sequentially with each impacting on the next.

The year is 1754 and hostilities between those two old adversaries, The Grand Duchy of Lorraine and the Vereinigte Freie Städte (VFS), - the United Free Provinces - a fairly tight agglomeration of countries, small principalities, republics and city states, are continuing. The Grand Duchy of Lorraine, closely allied to France further to the west, has struggled to maintain her borders for many years against the blatant aggression of the VFS. The VFS is itself part of a broader alliance known as The Electoral League. A part of this alliance is the Electorate of Tuetonburg-Fredonia to the south of the VFS and with a small border with Lorraine delineated by the River Surren. Tuetonburg-Fredonia has in recent years assisted her allies in their conflict with finance and mercenaries but has herself maintained a polite detachment from matters military– things are about to change!
