"The noble Captains of the Royal Guard were once English aristocrats. They grew tired of the Crown's greedy taxation and began funding their own ventures. The wealth of the Royal Guard attracted many skilled Captains and even better ship builders. All formal factions despise their existence and call them no more than well dressed pirates. They return the hostility in the form of well aimed cannon shots."
