Dungeon Universalis: Bestiary Cards & Legendary Encounters (2021)

Overview

This box includes the Bestiary cards for 12 factions, and include the complete profile of each creature and all the extra information. Some of the behaviors are somewhat different from what you will find in the behavior cards from the base game. All the creatures included here have their own standee as part of the contents that come with the game box.

In addition, the box includes the rules to play the new game mode: Legendary Encounters. This game mode will allow your heroes to face the different creatures that live ina certain kind of territory as they travel through it. And also as part of the quests located in that specific terrain. Thus, they will be more likely to find an Underworld Dog in a volcanic territory than in a forest, where they will probably face a Giant Spider.

Use: these cards will make the set-up for your games easier and faster, since you won´t need to check the books or other cards to discover the effects of the skills, weapons and behaviors of each creature. They are also necessary to play the "Legendary Encounters" mode.

Contents: 192 large cards (120x80 mm.) + 1 Bestiary Cards box + 1 set of rules to play the Legendary Encounters mode. Factions and creatures included in the box: Great Orc Tribes, Goblin Clans, Hosts of Bandmor, Thai-Shiang Empire, Corsairs, Northern Barbarians, Bandits, Creatures of the Night, Devastators, Daemons, Human Kingdoms, Fantastic Insects. Independent creatures (dragons, giant lizards, golems, elementals...).
