Gulf, Mobile & Ohio: Franco-German Rails, Rio Grande Games, 2022 — front cover
GMO (left), German Rails (right). I think that the railroad towns and non-railroad towns are too much alike in the expansion. GMO has symbols for railroad towns as well as the small color difference. In GR and Franco R they can be hard to tell apart.

German Rails - board and cards.
Endgame for an exciting match of German Rails. The black player’s Presidential expansion almost held off the blue player’s purple charter. Aside: Score track has a printing error.

Overview

The steam is up, the drivers engaged, and the first locomotives in Berlin and Paris have started clanking down the brand new tracks. Savvy, wealthy industrialists have scrambled to invest in this exciting new technology, and each hopes to reap untold fortunes from this unique venture. Some will do well, others not so much, but there will be only one that comes out on top.

Franco-German Rails is an expansion for Gulf, Mobile & Ohio that offers two different maps on which to play: France and Germany. These maps feature generic rail lines that start in specific cities with a set of share certificates for each.
