Card GameTrick-takingTeam-Based Game

Overview

Morff is a pretty standard partner trick taking game with all the typical rules of trick taking games. There are 5 suits with numbers 1-8 in each suit. The start player plays a card, and everyone must follow the suit led. If a player does not have the suit led, he may trump the trick.

The unique twist of Morff is that there is a trump changer side deck. Before each trick, the top card of the trump changer deck is flipped. Most of the time, the card will determine the trump color for the trick. However, some cards will make players swap hands with their partner or swap hands with opponents, so you never know for sure if you will have your hand of cards for the next trick, making hand management difficult.

Scoring is simple, with each trick being worth 10 points, and the last trick of a hand worth 30!
