Overview

You have just been selected to appear as a contestant on a new reality dating show. While every contestant on the show claims to be looking for love, some contestants are actually just trying to get famous. Your goal is to figure out who is who and couple up with the right contestant at the end of the show.

Every round (“Episode”) of LOVESTRUCK has dates that help you get to know the other contestants by playing Action Cards. Dates that result in LOVE grant you additional Action Cards and allow you to couple up with other contestants. Dates that result in DRAMA grant you additional Screen Time. Some Action Cards also have Special Actions that can help you get chosen for dates, gain more Screen Time, or even sabotage other couples.

The show culminates in a Season Finale where the final couples are decided and you decide who you want to leave the show with (or you leave the show alone). Match correctly and you get your picture-perfect romance (at least for 6-8 months after the show airs). Match incorrectly and you may go home alone, or worse, with someone who isn’t who you think they are.

At the end of the game, every contestant (i.e. player) reveals their Intention Card. Contestants win if they are in a couple with someone revealed to be here for the “Right” reasons. However, if the show’s viewership ever reaches 10 million people, the game ends early. Everyone here for the “Wrong” reasons immediately wins and everyone else immediately loses.
