Overview

With every expansion to Fields of Eternia comes a wealth of new content to explore, and Enter the Dragons is no exception. This new box includes its own unique scenario, quests, and bosses to keep players engaged and on their toes. However, the real highlight of Enter the Dragons lies in the addition of outpost tokens.

At the beginning of each game, players will place one of these tokens face-down on each outpost on the map. When a hero enters an outpost, the token is revealed, revealing a variety of potential benefits. Outposts may generate extra Eternium, controlling it may earn the player extra Victory Points at the end of the game, or the outpost may provide a burst of inspiration to the heroes, granting them unique and powerful abilities.

Outpost tokens introduce another new mechanic: Inspiration cards. When a player reveals certain tokens, they may be rewarded with an inspiration card. These cards may not look like much at first glance, but don't let their unassuming appearance fool you. The power of inspiration cards lies in their ability to surprise your opponents. Since your enemies won't know what cards you’re holding, you can catch them off guard with unexpected moves. Whether it's healing your hero at a crucial moment, playing an additional card during an epic battle, or teleporting your soldiers across the map, thanks to these cards, gameplay in Fields of Eternia becomes even less predictable and even more challenging!
