The Curse of Candelabria: 6th Player Expansion (2024)

Overview

The House of the Chimaera is ready to emerge from the mists of the north to unleash its fury on the lands of Candelabria! The House, given its strong bond with nature and the unknown, boasts powerful mystical powers and the ability to pass through roads and paths unknown to most. This House has its own initial Region, which is added on the main board as an expansion tile to the original game board. This also raises the player level count to 6.

The Explorations:

Inside the package you will find 18 exploration tokens, each depicting one or more different icons. These represent the mysteries and discoveries that the Houses make as they wander through Candelabria, when they decide not to plunder the territory but to see what is in front of them.

During the Set-Up these tokens are to be placed face down, randomly, on each territory belonging to a region that is not identified as the initial Region of a House (whether or not this is present in the game).

When a model (Candle or Castle) of a House enters a territory containing a token, he can INSTEAD of deploying a Land Flame and then perform the action relating to the territory, take the Exploration token, placing it face down next to his House Board. He may then reveal one of his exploration tokens as part of any action he takes to obtain the benefits indicated on this, or keep it covered to gain 1 VP at the end of each Year for each face-down token in his possession.
