El Reyno (2024)

Overview

These are complicated times in El Reyno. The Archduchess is plotting in the shadows to overthrow the King, the Dukes have already taken sides, Marquis and Counts are hoping not to make a mistake in choosing a side, and the Hidalgos are willing to do anything to improve their position. They all enter the game of the throne to quench their thirst for power, but what they ignore is that they are not the protagonists, but mere puppets in the hands of the real players: you.

In El Reyno, players take on the role of advisors, competing to manipulate the personalities of the court like puppets in order to gain maximum power.

When it is their turn, the players choose between

Conspire: adding puppets to their collection and using their spies to find out about their opponents' collections. Intervene: discarding a card from their hand to perform actions such as cheating, stealing, or challenging a rival puppet to a duel.

When all the cards have been played, the players show their collections. The player whose collection gives him the most power wins the game.
