Overview

Paths in the Wilderness is a major new expansion that provides you with an array of different options for your Five Leagues from the Borderlands games. Where the first expansion (The Ancient Land of Dust) was aimed at one type of adventure in a specific region of the world, this expansion is all about the adventure you want to create, brimming with options for almost every aspect of the game system, whether it is characters to create, activities to perform, creatures to fight (or recruit), or new ways to use the game rules.

All the material contained within is optional, you might want to use some of these rules for one campaign, and different rules for another. Pick and choose however you want to play!

This huge 97-page PDF expansion is full of new options for your Five Leagues from the Borderlands games:

New origins! Deep Kin, Dwarfs, Elriki, Felids, Gnawlings, Kobolds, and Skysworn. New mystical paths! Stone Mage, Shade, Trickster, Prescient, and Path Watcher. Optional rules including Heroic Mode, Hit Points, Enemy Infiltration, and Weather. New Enemies! Dare you face vampiric Bloodstained, lawless Outlaw Bands, the deathless Silent Battalion, or the Retinue of the Wolf Prince! Optional World Rules including Journeys, Inhospitable Map Terrain, Roaming Aberrations, and Sea Travel. New Activities such as Fishing, Bounties, Caravans, and Lore Research, And a whole chapter on Scenario Creation for players who enjoy creating their own adventures either for their solo games or as Game Master for another player.
