Overview

In addition to the character cards from the base game, you now have the option to choose from 3 additional character cards. With these new characters you will receive 1 of each resource, 1 additional resource of your choice, and 3 starting equipment cards at the start of the game.

Characters includes: Cartographer, Messenger, and Adventurer.

Cartographer: When another player’s yak ends its movement on the same space as the Cartographer’s yak, that player may not swap maps with the Cartographer. Matching pairs of maps are immediately considered secured for the Cartographer and will be worth 8 points in the final scoring.

Messenger: If the Messenger’s target space is a city or temple space, they receive 1 compass or 1 yak fodder from the supply.

Adventurer: Once per turn, the Adventurer can spend any 1 resource to allow their yak to make one right-angled turn during its movement.
