Overview

Expansion for Monumental

Meet the titans and the Behemoth, a new add-on for Monumental!

Titans are powerful and mighty beings that will unleash their rage on the board and act as unpredictable hazards. These mythical entities won’t be swayed easily, but predicting their moves and controlling their rage could very well become your ticket to victory…

If your civilization has been paying attention to legends and has acquired enough Talismans, you will be equipped to handle the Titans and even use their power – neglect them and you might become the unlucky target of their rampage!

Like Monsters, Titans will appear on the board at the flip of one of the new Barbarian/Titan tokens.

As soon as they appear, they will immediately start wreaking havoc on Provinces…

When the Behemoth is in play, players gain a new action they can take on their turn: Rampage. To take this action, they must pay 5 Talisman tokens (put them back in the main supply) and then move the Behemoth directly to any Province, removing everything on the tile (Soldiers, Explorers, Warlords, Outposts and Trading Posts are returned to the player’s supply; any tokens, including Wonder tokens, are returned to the box). If a Wonder token is removed in this way, the controlling player still keeps the matching card in their deck, and it will still count towards their final score at the end of the game.
