Overview

Innsmouth is a town forgotten by time, swallowed by shadows and decay. Its once-grand streets lie deserted, and its bustling harbor is all but consumed by the raging sea. The air stinks of salt and rot, and no sane person would willingly come here — especially knowing what stirs beneath the waves. And yet… here you are, tasked with guiding curious tourists through this murky, treacherous place.

In Innsmouth Travel Guide, you play as a bold (or perhaps reckless) tour guide charting the eeriest sightseeing route imaginable. Tourists are eager to see the town’s haunted landmarks — but cultists and Deep Ones prowl the shadows, ready to snatch them away. Balancing risk and reward is key: the more you expose your group, the more points you might score… or lose. Innsmouth Travel Guide follows Arkham in an innovative roll-and-write series inspired by En Route.

Each round, players roll chunky 20mm custom dice and collectively choose which to use, drawing routes and tourists on laminated maps, while reacting to the evolving game state and each other's decisions. The game includes five playable characters, each with unique abilities and scoring bonuses. You can all play the same character or enjoy a fully asymmetric experience.

Ancient artifacts, hidden tourists, and a shifting threat system add tension and tactical depth to every choice you make. Navigate the dangers, outsmart the lurking horrors, and claim victory as the most successful tour guide Innsmouth has ever seen.
