Overview

Rise and Fall is a competitive mini-campaign for Citizens of the Spark, in which 2-5 players compete to earn the most prestige for their city over five games, each with a unique setup or ruleset. This digital pack also includes a set of over 30 gorgeous digital wallpaper images featuring the game's original artwork by Diego Sa.

Travel through the ages as you guide your people through the rise and fall of civilization. After the Transmission from outer space bestowed intelligence upon the creatures of Fera, its citizens were thrust into both the delights and perils of modernity. From the Age of Uncertainty into the Ages of Excess, War, Loss, and Rebirth, your leadership will shape the course of history as you collect prestige from your successes and attempt to survive the ravages of war and famine.

Each age is played with a specific set of citizen cards and utilizing unique rule twists and special conditions that create a fresh and challenging new play experience thematic to the Age being played out.

Prestige is awarded to players at the conclusion of each game, based on the total sparks earned by each player. After five games, the player with the most prestige has been most instrumental in rebuilding Fera and is declared the winner! The five games in this campaign can also be played separately to add more recommended card sets to the base game.
