Expansion for Base-game
Overview
Spring is when the young arrive. When discarding to add Food, add 1 Egg token to the Watering Hole in addition to the Plant tokens. Place the Egg nearest you to show it’s your Egg.
An Egg can only be eaten by a species with the Opportunistic trait. When an Opportunistic species forages, it may eat the normal amount of Plants, or it may eat 1 Egg.
Each scored Egg is worth 1 point at the end of the game. If 1 of your Eggs is in the Watering Hole at the start of your Feeding turn, you may discard it to add 1 Population to 1 of your species.
