Overview

The Hundred Years' War was a highly complex conflict in terms of its duration, the many players involved and the succession of wars and truces over a very long period of 116 years!

Chevauchee, pitched battles, sieges, ambushes, looting, assassinations and betrayals were all part of the story. So it was a challenge to simulate this complex, non-linear war. Few games exist on this subject. We chose to design the game on a strategic scale, while maintaining its excellent playability.

Choices had to be made, and not all the details dear to historians will be there, but you'll be immersed in the medieval atmosphere and feel the epic breath of your rides in late medieval France.

La guerre de Cent Ans ("The Hundred Years' War") is designed for 2 to 4 players: with 4, each player takes control of one faction; with 2, each player takes control of both factions on the same side; with 3, one player takes control of both factions on one side, while the remaining players each take control of one faction on the other side.
