Overview

Enter the Kingdom of Kakapo, now overrun by the creeping vines of the mysterious Lyken! These vines spread across the land, shrouding it in a heavy mist that severs all communication… yet also reveals the long-forgotten forest spirits. With their help, you — brave adventurers — may still purify the realm and drive back the darkness.

Yami is an open-world trick-taking and polyomino game featuring 22 independent missions. Your ultimate goal: succeed in Mission 22. Each mission challenges you to surround Mission tiles with your Spirit tiles by playing a series of tricks. Every setup is unique, with its own map, rewards (sometimes hidden), and placement constraints. Careful planning and teamwork are key if you hope to advance through the kingdom.

But beware: time is against you. Every mission, whether won or lost, pushes you closer to the end and burdens you with cumulative penalties. Only clever play and strong cooperation will allow you to save the kingdom before the Lyken’s vines consume it all.

So… are you ready, adventurers, to face the mists of Yami?
