Talisman Quests: The Rainforest (fan expansion for Talisman) (2008)

Overview

Talisman Quests: Rainforest is an unofficial expansion that is compatible with both 2nd & 4th edition Talisman and is my largest print & play project completed to date. It was created to address a problem my friends saw with two official cards: The Pool of Wisdom and the Pool of Strength. Whenever these two cards came into play, those with characters closest to the cards benefit greatly letting them to pull away in the game. This expansion comes into play when either of the cards mentioned above come into play. Players now have to enter the Rainforest board and follow one of several paths to the pools in order to gain its benefits. Now players have to think about the time it takes to do the quest versus staying closer to the Crown of Command. Talisman Quests includes:

Rule book in PDF format, Two playing board images, One full sized jpeg for large format printing, 9 Letter sized jpegs for home printers, 60 Quest cards to challenger adventurers, 30 Curses cards for those who offend the gods, 2 New Characters and Character Cards (The Conquistador & Cannibal Warrior), 24 New Purchase Cards, 4 Special Cards (Two Large Legend Cards, One Retreat Card, One Gibbering Horror).
