Overview
In the run up to the release of the Talisman (Third Edition): Dragon's Tower, Games Workshop released two new Characters as part of an advertising feature in their house magazine, White Dwarf #186 in the UK, and White Dwarf #185 in North America.
These Characters were the Vampire and Swordsman.
The cards featured miniatures taken from GW's tabletop game, Warhammer.
The Vampire and Swordsman were released again in 2003 as part of an advertising feature for the reprinted version of Talisman (Third Edition).
