Along with the designer of the new game Argentino Panzer Saint-Lo 1944 - La Cantera ONG - Argentina
Wait a moment, I prepare a typical argentine "mate" while my B-19 Flying Fortress destroy your command post...
Game has great original illustrations. Even Battle Reports decks for both sides have the same type and number of events, the artwork for them is different.

As an allied general, you must recover the city of Saint-Lo and the surrounded area. But if you play as an axis general, your mission will be to resist and to defeat the allies, maintaining the control in the region.

Command the infantry, tank, artillery and aerial units that take part in the battle! Ask for reinforcements, avoid any danger with your supply units and take the necessary supplies that allow you to move and attack with you units. Only with tactic and strategy you shall get the victory!

Panzer Saint-Lo 1944 is a new, hex-and-counter board game, that simulates the battle of Saint-Lo, between german and American armies in July. 1944, during World War II. Each player had the control of half the board game, and have eight command post on towns, cities and strategic positions on it. The mission of each player is to move forward into enemy territory and destroy the enemy command post.

The game contains 210 counters, most of it whit a fine representation of guns and vehicles that took part in the real battle. Player have to command infantry, tanks, artillery, planes and supply units, in order to move into enemy terrain and to destroy enemy command post. The game involves use of resources as well, so movement and attack of units uses supplies counters, and players have to obtain supply every turn, through supply units.

Combat between units is defined with dices in a simple but smart way. Artillery units provide extra support to attacking units, obtaining powerful attack even with cheap vehicles.

The game also includes two card decks, one for each army. Cards provide extra power units and extra resources; it also makes shortage of ammo and fuel to the enemy.

As in the real battle, there is no invincible unit. Even if you play your Tiger I tanks or your B17 Flying Fortress bombers, you will need to beware of enemy infantry, light tanks or other enemy units. There are many ways to obtain victory, and to defeat the enemy, and only a good strategy is needed to gain the battle.
