Overview

Another rather unusual game from Karl-Heinz Schmiel, Packen Wir's!simulates the efforts of furniture movers to safely deliver their loads to the correct flats and thereby maximize their income in tips. The game involves relatively trivial memory and tactical components, as players discover the hidden destinations of each of three movers and try to maneuver them through the building to deliver a load of furniture. The more entertaining part of the game begins when a load is in the correct location to be delivered. The acting player then choses a partner, and together the two players attempt to maneuver miniature doll house furniture into locations specified on a floor plan card using a pair of wooden sticks. (Each player is allowed to hold only one stick...) If the furniture is upended or dropped, it is considered broken and neither player earns a tip. The game ends when all the furniture has been delivered; the player with the most tips wins. Primarily a dexterity game with cool bits and an interesting cooperative element, although the advanced rules add some tactical possibilities.
