King Arthur (2014)

Overview

England in the Middle Ages is seeking a King. Knights from across the land go on exciting and adventurous quests with one goal in mind: to pull the sword Excalibur from the stone and claim the throne. As in the story, the game lets players take the role of knights wandering from town to town and adventure to adventure. While doing so, they encounter the saga's heroes - bridge guardians, generous barkeeps, successful noblemen - who influence the events of the game.

As part of the “Smart Play” series, a smartphone mounted over the board keeps track of the players actions and plays the voices of friends and foes. Another difference to the original game (King Arthur) are the dice to determine the result of fights. The players can gain strength to get additional dice. The free app also explains the rules.
