Overview

THE BABIES AND THE BEASTS

Vaipa Express #8 allows you to add 5 new German vehicles to Avalon Hill's Up Front

* Goliath - A radio controlled tankette. You move it up to an obstacle. You ignite the 85 kg. bomb. You have no more Goliath, but you also have no more obstacle. * Borgward - A radio controlled tankette. You move it up to an obstacle. You tell it to drop its charge. You move it away. Boom! * Wanze (AKA: Bedbug, AKA: Borgward B IV Ausfuhring mit Raketenpanzerbuchse 54) - At the end of the war the Borgwards were not too useful since they were offensive weapons. So, 50 were re-equipped with 6 mounted panzerfausts each, so they could be used by the Volksturm (militia) as an anti-tank shotgun. * Maus I - This Panzer VIII was never finished. This is the first proto-type that was fitted with only a dummy turret for trials. It has no bang. But, it is very tough and makes a nice mobile fort. * Maus II - This is the second prototype of the Panzer VIII. It was armed with the same gun as the Jagdtiger and died defending its factory.

Besides the new units, VE #8 includes the rules for their use, new scenarios for each of them, a chart to incorporate them in DYO scenarios, and new terrain cards as called for in the new scenarios.
